5K race starts and finishes at the Gorton Center
in the town center of Lake Forest
6:00 pm start time for wheelchair participants
6:05 pm start time for runners/walkers
CARA Certified Race
USTAF Course Certification (IL-09029-JW)
Individualized computerized results on race day
Overall race results available on the Internet
No bicycles or rollerblades allowed

Registration:

T-shirt limited to the first 400 participants
Participants must complete the race entry application and sign the waiver of liability
Race will be capped at 500 runners

Early registration fee is $25 per person (early registration); $30 after September 4rd
CARA members receive a $2 race discount
Military members receive a $5 race discount

Race day registration from 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in these specified age groups:
10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & over

Packets may be picked up at the Gorton Center lobby on September 11th from 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm
No security check-in for personal gear

Parking at Lake Forest east train station on Deerpath Road between Western Avenue and McKinley Avenue - disabled parking also available

Post Race Party:

Post-race party will be held from 7:00-10:00 pm
Live band, soda, beer and great food available!
All proceeds will go to GLASA
